“The Camp Rainbow Foundation is an organization that is composed totally of volunteers who are dedicated to providing seriously ill children a camping experience that previously had been unavailable to them in the Missouri/Illinois area. The goal of Camp Rainbow is to provide seriously ill children the opportunity to enjoy a week of camp in an environment that allows each child to participate in exciting activities, to make new friends to build self-esteem, and to be relieved of the everyday stress caused by their illness. Also of utmost important, Camp Rainbow provides each camper with necessary medical care. 100% of every dollar raised for Camp Rainbow goes directly to provide a quality camping program for each camper. There is no cost to any camper or their family. We are most pleased that in our first 21 years of Camp Rainbow over 1951 seriously ill children have been able to attend Camp Rainbow. We are very appreciative that you care to help fulfill these children’s dreams with your donation to Camp Rainbow. Through your gift, you have become a “Dream Maker” by turning sadness into smiles on the face of a seriously ill child. Words could never tell you all the good that your donation does at camp. As two of our former campers said “there is a lot of love in this place” and “it helps to feel like you’re someone special”. Allen Brockman Chairman, Camp Rainbow Foundation |
